APOLOGIES TO ANYONE WHO I TOLD I WOULD BE ONLINE AT A REASONABLE HOUR LAST NIGHT. It was...well, blame Firefly, it fucked my schedule to the stars and back. I do (HOPEFULLY) plan to be alive tonight, though I am feeling sort of tired and need to remind myself to actually SLEEP at some point and not stay up watching more Firefly things, reading them, especially when I've already seen the things to watch, or playing Runescape (you stupid fuck, how could you do this to me, you know who you are).
BUT notes: I got my grades for college and wow, I actually pulled off my first term. Gonna have to do this two more times before the school year is out, but it's good to know that maybe I did things right my first few months in.
Second: I'm trying so hard to work out how I can get to DragonCon next year. This is all riding on if, like they usually do, the Stargate/Firefly casts would be there, because I've decided that I am determined to see them before I die. At least the Firefly cast. Love you, Stargate, but god damn, they are freaking hilarious and I want to be in the same room as them. September, Labor Day. Think that's enough time to pull something together, if I save up and split my money between this and ACen? Think I can afford a train ticket? Think I can find people to go with me (Ryan, naturally, you are the first invited)? Stay tuned for Hopeless Pipe Dreams of a Nerdy Stupid Fuck.
Visiting my high school tomorrow. Actually extremely excited to see the teachers. If any of them are out on sick leave, I will be a sad panda.
And last but not least as of early this morning, though a few old logs still needed to be finished and marked complete, we have a grand total of:

February 23rd, 2010, less than a year ago, after just a few weeks of planning, what was meant to be just a one-off game...just twenty-three nutjob fans having fun, and now we've got our own mythology, three more players, countless characters and backup journals, fanart, multiverses, AUs tying into those multiverses, hopes for a fanfic compilation one day, more mindscrews than you can shake a stick at... And in less than a year. Makes me so freaking proud. ...Of course I just killed my main character towards the start of the battles this time 'round, which I NEVER do, so unless I get creative which i can do I won't actually be playing her there for..........oh god i can't think about that i may regret it more-- like killing simba in the second scene of the lion king-- BUT. But I'm so glad that we started this and I hope we really do keep playing forever. oh jeez, no short jokes, no insulting but loving in the narration, no ship logs, I AM IN WITHDRAWAL ALREADY, MACHI, DO YOU SEE WHAT YOU DO TO ME-- Congrats, all. It's always a pleasure.
