So I fell asleep for two hours after homework and now can't sleep so I watched Glee, which I missed and had to download because it was on at 7 instead of 8 (GAO).
Unlike my usual loooong posts about Glee, I'm doing a short one because...well, I wasn't even going to do one and then I got to the end and said, "Yeah, okay :D"
First of all: Sam, I want you to be in Glee Club. I know, he "took" Finn's spot, but I want him in Glee Club. :) He seems cool and he jammed with the guys.
Second: Matt transferred. :(
Third: I...kinda liked that everyone was still...not doing everything right? I mean, okay, I read through the watch-along post. They introduced everyone as being happy-happy getting along, that they'd all bonded......but that's not really true. That's what we fans wanted. That's what the club wanted to believe. This episode was about breaking down what everyone had already conceived as their own canon, or already forced themselves to believe. I really, REALLY liked that. A whoooole lot. Rachel's still an insecure drama queen with some crazy wrapped up in a cute package. Finn's still horrible at thinking things through (REMEMBER YOU'RE HAVING MY BABY?), Quinn's still a bit of a bitch, Artie's got issues, Schue's got issues, EVERYONE'S GOT ISSUES. That's the point of Glee! That doesn't mean some of the things said (omg, false accusations of molestation D: ) weren't horrible, but....that's what happens. They weren't condoning it. Not that one at least. It wasn't funny, it was "ohgod" and that's what I think it was supposed to be. Mood whiplash show.
Okay, now that that's out of the way.
Fourth: Duuuude, I have avoided spoilers so Sunshine being on Vocal Adrenaline was an AWESOME twist for me. I'm sort of sad, though, I hope that they won't take away her cute peppiness. Butanyway. I like her voice, but I'm still firmly in the Lea Michele camp. >_>; This is not just because I am a Rachel fangirl, because throughout I was just like, "Rach, girrrrl, stooooop" and stuff, but I still just like Lea's voice better.
Fifth: omg artie and tina. DDDDD: But yeah, he did have his moments of bad boyfriend. So. ...Gao. :/ New plot, at least!
Sixth: I like Beiste :D
Seventh: Can't wait for Emma.
Eighth: ...Okay, love the fact that Finn and Rachel are a couple and not totally attached to each other. They had their own plotlines in this episode and came together at the end. :) I gotta get another Finn/Rachel icon now, and more Glee icons in general, I feel. .......... >_>; And I think I can appreciate on-screen kisses a lot more now. And height differences. ahem, all i gotta say bout that.
Ninth: Quinn back to being a Cheerio? Well, let's see where this leads us...
Tenth: Jewfro's opening. I died a lot while watching it, it was fantastic. "Kids don't like my rap...?" OH GOD. XD
Eleventh: WOULD like a little more consistency with some of the character development, but it looks like old habits are hard to kill (ie. Rachel's craziness, Quinn's move away from the bitchiness).
Twelfth: Oh, I just remembered! Sue walking in during Rachel and Sunshine's song in the bathroom? HILARIOUS. I love when this show doesn't take itself seriously.
Thirteenth: Seriously, height differences. Just saying.
Fourteenth: The callback to the pilot with Finn finding Sam in the locker room! Oh, I DIED! XD
Fifteenth: Next week's episode. Heather Morris, you are fantastic. Rachel in a sexy schoolgirl uniform, show, why do you do this to me? Brittany Spears, "TOXIC." I will admit to having an unhealthy love for that song! I should not like it! I do!
...Okay, I think that's all I got. Other thoughts are there, but I think I just got tired again. ...And my throat is hurting for some reason. Uh oh.
