Life is good. Thesis got turned in, am now in the editing phase, but am thus graduating with honors. So that's a rocking good time. This weekend, as a result, was a drunken blast... went to bed at 3am Friday night to get up and be at work by 8:45 am for a fun filled day of two museum kids programs... got asked out by a 7th grader in one and had a 5 year old shove a goldfish cracker up his nose in the other. Then back for more good fun drinking and to bed Saturday night at 5am to be awake at 9. Why do I compulsively wake up early? Sunday was filled with a senior dance show and a fancy reception dinner for seniors in a school program my roommates are in.
Had fun with a delicious man named Ben Saturday, a friend of my roommates boyfriend that came to visit. I've discovered that the key to my happiness is no expectations I'm leaving back for Madison mentality. ha ha ha he's a really sweet guy, we hit it off right away. I'm sure I will see him again sometime, like at Camilla's wedding. ha ha ha
I'm trying to reconstruct what my life was pre-thesis... the piles of paperwork, the unwashed laundry, the roommates I haven't really talked to... it feels nice. All I have standing between me and graduation: one paper due Friday and a test in finals week. Oh, and finishing a tablerunner in my weaving class. So close! I can taste it!
But yeah, so life is good. Found a roommate for Tempe, which is awesome. so much more fun to look for a place to live with someone else who doesn't know what they're doing. So the stress of moving to AZ is much less.
So yup. All warm and squishy inside from a combination of Ben and turning in that honors thesis and being this much closer to graduation. I'm riding the happy wave for as far as it can take me.
