This book must have become domesticated, sitting in the shelf so long. It's so well behaved I hardly remember it!!
Bernie's made some friends with the muggle ladies nearby, as mindboggling as that sounds. As much of friends as she can be, of course. Not to say she's antisocial or anything like that, just a bit guarded, as every good pureblood should be around those sorts. In any case, the women of Little Bredy have some sort of gardening club and after seeing poor Bernie struggle over the lawn they invited her in for a meeting tonight! No worries, though, she's bringing her wand- she even disguised it as a bouquet of flowers, dead clever she is! They won't know what hit them!! She can handle herself if anything gets out of hand, but I still worry a little. She's over there now, but the village isn't so far away that i won't see the sparks if she ends up getting into a scrape. Muggles! Really.
Thought I ought to clear up a few things before this scrap is faded for good, but I'm not gay, Ludo. Sorry if I ever sent you the wrong signals, man. And I swear to you, with my last breath, we will find you the greatest girl out there and you will be blissfully married like Tonks and I and you will have thousands of children to make up for the underpopulation of the generations, OKAY?
Cho's invited Bernadette and I down for a bit of a holiday in Barcelona, so hopefully the wife be up for it when she gets home. I think we'll leave the book behind when we go, or maybe just drop it off with the muggles and let them use it to help their plants grow. They call it fertilizer! Isn't that bizarre? I think so too, man.
