Dorset is really fantastic, it's a great place to live. Not that Ottery St Catchpole wasn't, of course, but you know! A change from someplace to a whole new place is really amazing! I've never lived anywhere else, it's all very exciting. It's very green here in Dorset, though it's the countryside, I can't imagine what other color it would be, man. But, it's really great at sunrise and we almost never see the muggles that live in the village nearby. Bernie says she saw one when she went for a walk and the muggle tried to talk to her, but she managed to duck away and apperate home in time. I said now everyone in Little Bredy must think we're so shy! She is awfully jumpy about that, muggles always make her nervous, understandably.
We've gotten very used to this new house of ours! Bernadette always uses the word 'cozy' when she describes it to people and I think it really fits. It's certainly smaller- not to say that I haven't gotten confused anyway, though. In the beginning, I wound up falling down the stairs when I woke up i the night and needed to go to the bathroom. It was very painful but very, very funny. Bernie's finally finished setting up all the furniture and things just the way she likes and mentioned that she might try some gardening once she's through. So er, i think I might knock over some things and make a mess once I'm done here. Best to keep her as far from digging into the ground as possible!!
Work is slow, or it's the same pace and no one's loading me with paperwork anymore. Which I understand completely, some of the new boys are real geniuses when it comes to research- There's some boy named Elric or other who spoke to me at length about Chimaeras one day and the things he knew were relly impressive for someone only on their first year here. He knew more about them than I do, which isn't hard actually because I'm not a fan of the things anyway! Hah, work things are actually only interesting to me, but a new kid knowing so much about Chimaeras!
Also, I've apparently forgot some things I never knew I forgot in the first place. How funny!
