(no subject)
So, I moved in to my apartment that I can only HOPE will stay in for my 3 month lease.
That is, from building 7 to building 8. That's right folks, they made me move all my things a building over, but now, I'm on the 3rd floor instead of the 2nd. And my new roomate has mountains (3-foot mountains) of empty bottles in the hallway, which is annoying me.
Pegasus Landing telling me I must move a day after they let me move completely (11 days after I sign the sublease papers) in just shows how disorganized they really are. Needless to say, if they hadn't made me move, I would have signed up for spring and fall. Thats like 5 grand they just flushed down the toilet.
I'm looking to live anywhere other then a "College Park" facility for fall and spring. I have one roomate who wants to live with me in the fall (but not spring since hes graduating) so far.
ATTENTION: IF you aren't a slob and would like to live with me then I could get a 3 or 4, instead of a 2, so let me know. Or i'd rather live in a 4 with people I already know- so theres 2 slots.
The 3 forbidden places are:
Pegasus Landing
Pegasus Pointe
Jefferson Commons
These places are managed by College Park, the people who have a contract that lets them relocate you to any other unit they own with a 15-day notice. (and yes, I spent 10pm-6:30am cleaning my new apartment, then got to move again! Yayy!)
Besides, the motto on thier website is "Your parents never had it this good!"
If you ask me, thats a very annoying motto to all us semi and fully-independent students out here.
