Gender Bias
Boy hits boy: boys will be boys.
Boy hits girl: boys will be met with lawsuits and restraining orders.
Girl hits boy: he had it coming.
Girl hits girl: everybody loves a cat fight.
Why is this?
No, I took my women's studies course. I know why this is. Violence is violence should be violence, but if I plug different faces and different fists into the scene, my reaction changes. There's something to that...though justification won't be found in it.
I am, perhaps, overthinking again.
