I love how I illustrate my personality in the objects I own. My computer, for example, is fastidiously organized, full of things I love, and customized to a friggin T. Kind of unnecessarily so.
Hilariously, the same cannot be said for journals. For whatever reason I tend to keep my thoughts in my head lately, or I just plain speak them aloud. Not so much with the writing lately. Howeverrrrr this thing happened where now I live in Missouri so it seems like a practical way to keep myself connected with all of the people I've known my whole life up to this point. Well, the ones who read their lj friends lists anyway, I suppose. I'm so bad with social networking sites though -- hilarious because forums and livejournal and way back when I had a deadjournal all I really did on the internet was social networking. Now what do I do on the internet? Ogle hot asians on youtube. Acquire goods of specious origin but reliable quality. Well, usually of reliable quality. Basically nerd out on a constant basis.
In any case, enough tangents.
To those of you who don't know the whole story -- too bad, it's too long, and too annoying to keep retelling. It happened like two months ago anyway, point is now -- I live in Missouri, with Steve's in his mom's house for an undetermined amount of time. I'm actually totally ok with this arrangement, after all, it's not my mom we moved in with, haha. Besides we get basically the whole (furnished) basement to ourselves. It still needs a lot of work though. I'll post pictures once I'm not sleep deprived. Not just of the room we are in the process of cleaning out to make it actually ours but! There's like one billions pets here! And I should probably post pics of the house or something. I don't know I'm not really a picture person, and I haven't kept a regular journal in ever so I suppose it'll be interesting to see how this turns out.
I really really want to restore my music collection, but for some unknown reason I managed to get the internet to work, but IRC of any kind will not work. And Bitlord is just not nearly as reliable or fast! It's an very impatient wait, I'll say that.
My brain is very scattered, so I'm stopping here for now. I haven't been sleeping well, since the dogs here are on a totally different schedule than insomniacs, and like to bark ridiculously at ungodly hours. But the problem today is actually not them! It is actually! I stayed up. I'm trying to fix my schedule.
Steve's working at a Starbucks nearby. After I finally got my ID, I've been sending out my own applications. I'm gonna just wait til he gets back today and then I'll pass out. It'll be awesome!
Man I'm beat.
