So I was a little shocked to find out that there are a number of people in this city that have no idea who Ryan Adams is. Not that I think that EVERYONE should know who he is, but at least ONE person. I didn’t know if I would like the new album cause it was supposed to be more country…but after the show, I think I’m gonna love it!! It was such a good time with good people and an awesome welcome to the summer party. After having moved in to the new apartment and finishing school, things have been really cool. I love my new place and the new roomies are rock and roll. The room is bigger than any I’ve ever lived in which means that the surround stereo actually works. The weekend was nuts, I was exhausted from moves and raking and no sleep. but when it was all done and I lay down I almost laughed out loud while falling asleep for the first night with The Boss all around me. It was amazing. I need amazing. I mean, who doesn’t every now and then, but I really needed it.
There are things I love to do. there are things that make me smile no matter what else is going on in the world. do you ever experience that? a love. A joy. A moment. Its like you can fall into a different place for a little while…away from everything…and just be happy. I went to a show with some friends and smiled the whole time.
