THIS IS FOR ANDREA CAUSE SHE ASKED ME TO UPDATE
i've started school and its going well so far. i'm in my first class that has stadium seating. so i finally feel like a university kid. see i never really felt like i was at university until thursday night cause i always imagined university classes with stadium seating...like in Buffy when she started college. i realize now that basing one's outside world reference on Buffy the vampire slayer might mix someone up.....in may areas, but i was still excited about it. i'm also really into the intro to Islam course that i'm taking. it's a faith i know nothing about so i'm not sitting there having to listen to ppl ask dumb questions that i already know the answer to, i AM the dumb questioner!! its awesome!!
but enough, i figure i could tell you about the summer of 05 OR i could just give you snippets cause that would be shorter
-anyone who says children are the only ones who blush is a liar
-i finished "the perks of being a wallflower" and it finishes a heck of alot better than catcher and the rye
-i won the annual THORN LAKE INVITATIONAL canada day golf tournament.....then the fam got me drunk
-i met a girl named Poppy and her hair is red which i think is specTACular
- my birthday was on the 1st of september and i was pleasently surprised when old friends and new came together unexpectedly
- met the best girl fooseballer in the world
- my brother might be moving here or Toronto....always following in my footsteps
- i went to three weddings: a country wedding/ a normal wedding/ and a ritzy $$$ wedding and i gotta say, by going you learn so much about what you want love to be.
- there is this gathering in Montreal called "the tams" that is basically a hippie fest. Literally hundreds of people show up at the foot of Mount Royal with drums and just dance and play alllll day on sundays.....its amazing to witness and even better to be apart of.
- i sported a mohawk for a good portion of the summer
- i was promoted to assistant manager at work,so trying to juggle that and being a full time student will be soooooooooooooooo much fun
- new fav band: Razorlight
- my parents moved but they still havn't sold their old house so they are alittle stressed
- i have a new roomate, jeremy, who's also vegan (like my other roomate scottie) so i never have to worry about them stealing my food....CAUSE I EAT ANIMALS WHOLE!!
- I sang at a concert at my cottage
- i have a dog now, his name is Hustler and he's half chuiwawa (spelling?) and half dashunhound (how do you spell these things?)
- i have a horrible diet of subway and burger king
- i am so stoked for the ultimate frisbee season to begin, but not HALF as stoked about the NHL season to begin............actually............ok maybe half as stoked
I'M GOING TO SEE SUFJAN STEVENS TONIGHT!! IF ANYONE WANTS TO COME ITS AT LA TULIPE ON PAPINEAU.
