Well, here I sit, faintly ill, highly resentful, and not in class.
Why? WHY am I not in my 10:00-11:15 American Literature II class?
Okay, I've had morning classes before. Last semester, for instance, I had an Ethics class at 10:00. Did I have problems parking? Hells no. Any problems I did have only delayed me at most fifteen minutes late--enough to predispose me to afternoon classes, but not definitely.
I got to campus half an hour early: parking garages bursting with several entrail-like waiting lines, all (and I checked them all) parking lots FULL, dozens of cars silently stalking a space, cars parked on grass, cars parked along real spaces, students sneaking into visitor and teacher parking. Full was the side road that's "technically not campus and if bad things happen to you there the university is not liable." Full was the church lot across Dodge. By the time I realized 'Oh Christ, I have to go to Crossroads and shuttle,' I was somewhat late and would be thrice so in the time the commute would take.
Fortunately this was my second American Lit class, so I won't be assumed entirely MIA. First class, my car was in the shop and mom dropped me off. I saw the lines, but figured I could park at the other end of campus and walk. Ho ho ho! *roars* What is this? This is ridiculous! Up the fucking parking spaces, you tuition-consuming smacks!
I should have just made a psuedo-parking space and destroyed the resulting ticket. 40 dolla fine to YOU, campus security, for being unfeeling, code-abiding brutes.

Arghh, Mandy, I wish you hadn't convinced me into myspace! LOL. I have creepy people trying to friend me and other unspeakable acts of cyber anonymity. Not cool! But, I suppose I should get back to it, as I haven't responded to messages for days. And I still need to friend message your page and all. Got my letter?
wtf?,
