*Megdy* Regarding Percipitation Love and Topsoil Erosion

My ass is fucking drenched.

Because, don't you know, today is February 5: The Day Oxford Flooded.

I had to walk through it to Accounting with my backpack on. My umbrella didn't break ($3 well spent), but it also didn't cover the whole of my hugereared backpack. So within about two seconds of leaving dorm (approximately when I crossed the twenty foot mote) the poor thing was drenched.

It was raining so hard and so much, that before I even got out of the dorm yard I was beginning to feel water on the butt and the backs of my legs. The water was coming through my backpack! And soaking into my pants from the top.

The layer of water on the ground, meanwhile, was working it's freezing way *up* my pants. So in the four minute walk my pants become soaked.

Rain is cool, very cool. I am one with the rain. But not on my ass.

I had five hours of intensely airconditioned classrooms like that(with soggy books too). And since I was sitting on my butt the whole time, it never dried. Still wet. Six hours later.

And it's chaffing!!!

Sidenote: I heard this insult today from a vocabulary-impaired young college guy: "God you're so redundant! You just keep going on and on!"

*cough*potkettle*cough*

gloom, class, nature
