So on Tuesday I left work to go to school and had to drive around a giant tumbleweed. It was sitting in the right-hand left turn lane, being all big and tumbleweedy, not blowing around like they do in the movies and Western Nebraska

Senior check...I'm envious. LOL. Did you have your informal transcripts and everything printed out for the check? Why is it that you get to do these things so casually when MY adviser and teachers are having follow-the-rules freakouts?

I do these things casually because my advisor doesn't know what's going on. She just sort of vagually suggests things sometimes.

You don't need anything for your Senior check except an appointment with one of the A&S deans. They'll have your papers and will most likely have already reviewed them before you go in.

Sweet. I'm gonna charge in there all prepared and finger-snapping. Natural science cred--? "Check." Humaniti--? "Check." Langua--? "CHECK, YO."

I would rather have an adviser vaguely suggest things and leave me to get a second opinion than one who adamantly insists I haven't finished credits when the evidence is on the computer screen right next to his moving face. :|

So I totally read "Langua--" as "Laguna" and was all "why would she need one of those to graduate..."

Lol. Bridgeford seems to like him. She holds a minority opinion.

I know. She is the minority opinion. But I imagine that a colleague relationship with him is vastly different than an adviser-advisee one. Which is stupid.
