So I got my lower teeth braced today. That's so not the right way to use that word, but I'm going to go with it. Easier than rephrasing the sentence. Or backspacing, which is way too much work.
Anyway.
Finally got the things back from Crystal that we've been very passively attempting to re-trade since last October. All it eventually took was for me to end up at my parent's house when they weren't, a phone call and a walk around a few blocks and voila! Instant success. (Why did that take ten months?)
This of course means it's time to trade again, so here's the big list of manga and anime:

I'll wait a few weeks before carting them off to either goodwill or the library.

The Thin Woman (Dorothy Cannell)Contrived ending, but good.
The Facts Speak for Themselves (Cole)Kind of annoying authorial voice, but a relatively short read.
Sleep No More (Greg Iles) A mystery novel that I enjoyed, and will never read again.

The Body Art Book (Jean-Chris Miller)
Coming of Age in Mississippi (Anne Moody) An autobiography of a girl who joined the racism protests.
Lamb (Christopher Moore)The gospel according to Bif, Christ's childhood friend.
Choke (Chuck Palanuik) Good, but I have some problems with the writing style.
Beijing Doll (Chun Sue) Autobiographical, and I disliked the subject.
Five-Minute Who-Dun-Its (Smith) A series of short logic problems in story form, overly simplistic settings, though
Island of the Blue Dolphins (Scott O'Dell)Good, kind of like something you'd be required to read in grade school or highschool.

Amusing the Million (John F. Kasson) About Coney Island, the nation's first amusement park, and how it was a result of Victorian morals.
Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen) Does anyone else get this mixed up with Sense and Sensibility?
