In the process of dusting out the inside of my computer case, I had to move a pile of papers elsewhere. I found an odd little dongle for my headset that links the cables into some USB cable or some such. It works for all of fifteen minutes until it decides to mute all audio forever until I reboot.
It has now found a new life as something I pretend to be a pet robot scorpion.
I think I will do the same with every other nigh-useless electronic doodad well out of the range of returnability or warranty, because somehow I think life needs more pretend-robot scorpions.
