2011 NaNoWriMo day 17 end
1750 more words, to bring me to 28750 total.
Things took a somewhat darker turn than I was hoping, but when I came to it I realized this was a golden opportunity to stretch the concept (and the joke) that much further. I think I may have milked the previous settings and assumptions for all that they were really going to be worth for the sake of narrative.
There's still 20,000+ words left, so I am really looking at that obstacle as to how this concept can realistically be prolonged, and interestingly so. Well, for me, anyway.
Also, today was the first incident in my three year NaNoWriMo run where I lost some work. It was only 42 words or so, so no big loss.
Unless you are looking for the Douglas Adams reference, then it is unfortunately lost forever.
