So, Dad got his new car today, which is good. Except I'm allowed to drive it Friday to take care of some business, and after that? Forget about it, I have to get my car fixed and then I have transportation again.
Anyways, I noticed today that I have a green bruise on my shoulder from the accident. I pointed that and the lump on my head (which is still kinda big), and asked him that if I hadn't been driving his car (2003 Saturn L200), what would have happened.
Let me explain something about that particular year and model of Saturn. It was actually my dad's second. The first? That was totalled in a car crash. Someone t-boned him while they were going 55. It compressed one of my Dad's vertebrae, and basically broke his back and a rib.
Now, let me go a bit further into details about my crash. I flipped at least one and a half times, with the car landing on the passenger side. I also hit a tree with the rear end, which pushed the trunk in at least a foot, if not more. My seat snapped back, and after I stopped I basically slid out of it, dazed, into the passenger seat.
Not a single cut. Not a single scratch, or broken bone.
Apparently, if I'd been in any other car, I'd be in the hospital, or possibly dead. But definitely in the hospital.
