Wooty!
I got an iPod iTouch..... it's pretty fun! Got a card for iTunes too- downloaded season 11 of South Park. Haven't watched any yet, am waiting for the bus commute for that. I'm going to download some audio books too for the trip to Indy.
I got noise canceling headphones too- those are the bomb. They really do work (the noise canceling part). Those, in combo with the iPod, make me a pretty zoned out girly-o!
I got Gwen Stefanis LAMB perfume, too- in a gift set with lotion and bath wash stuff. I was trying to remove the cap on the lotion after I unwrapped it so the man could smell it and realized too late that it wasn't a 'removable' cap... it was a twist and pop one, and it had already been done, so I proceeded to get lotion on my jammy pants, my shirt and my arm (about half the bottle, I think) before I realized what was happening. Yay. Go me. I smelled like a french girlhouse all night... had to change shirts 2X because I could smell myself in bed. Smells good... but was just too much!
I had a DVD Video camera on my Christmas wish list, but someway, somehow it came out as "DVD RECORDER" .... so- go, man, go... he got me a DVD recorder as stated. He thought it was odd that I was asking for that, he wasn't sure why, but he knows I dig digi and online photo and video project stuff, so he thought I knew what I was asking for at the time. Thankfully, he kept the gift receipt, and I have his blessing to take it back and get what I want. After my 1st or 2nd paycheck, I may well do that. :)
Christmas was nice and quiet and rather uneventful- just perfect, actually. I have tons of ideas already on things to get my peeps next year, but I'm not sure how to remind myself once it comes time to shop. I think I'll set myself a far out date reminder for next September or October to remind myself... it's the only way I can think to do it.
I guess that's it... I had yesterday off work ("The New Job") and have next Monday off, too- but am working tomorrow, so I better sign off here and get my backpack and stuff ready to go. I don't want to have to think about it in the morning - I want to get up, shower, dress, pack snacks, grab coffee, and hit the road. It may snow again tonight, so I need a few extra minutes to get to the bus stop so I don't start my day feeling I want to kick dumbass drivers in the teeth just getting to the bus .5 mile away.
