2 weeks ago, I walked out of my network class because 1) my lab partner wasn't there, and 2) the remaining idjits drove me beyond nutso. When I went last night, I found out my lab partner almost walked out in MY absence last week. Hehehe. So.. it wasn't just me - they really ARE crazy!

Before we discovered our mutual (hatred?) for the others that we HAVE to work with (because nearly 40% of our grade requires us to network our computers to theirs) - my lab partner made me laugh and almost snort when he elbowed me when "clicky nails" lady walked in the lobby last night. She was in some fur lined boots - I think she was going for "stylish" but they reminded me of Napoleon Dynamites boots. She had on camoflouge pants - cut for a girl, low waist, big pockets in front, small pockets in back (I'm sure the ad said "flattering"?) - but it doesn't work when your muffin top sits ON TOP of your hotty pants.

Anyway... Then some bling/pockety adorned low cut, tight T shirt, under a half zipped hooded super fluffy down coat with some faux fur trim that sat... you guess'ter Chester- on top of the muffin top! In summary- she had too much skin coming out in places it shouldn't have been, 14 year old clothes on a 30+ something year old body - and her weave/extensions have been removed, and her hair looks a little beat up (or: it is a *SUPER* bad haircut/dye (color) job/"looked better in the salon" 'do). She's over-doing it with the bronzer lotion/tanning bed, and has the "makeup line" on her face and neck because her foundation is *SO* not the color for her. She was quite the spectacle to many, and quite desirable to a few of the more daft ones that go for those types.

The cool thing is, my lab partner is probably pushing 60, he's chatty and charming, and a grampa that likes to talk about anything and everything to anyone that will listen. He's a bit plump around the middle, wears suspenders, and smells like cough drops most of the time, needs a hair cut and a shave and drags around a backpack on wheels with a handle. I hardly had him pegged for knowing when to laugh at a bad outfit, but he's got my props. Maybe it was a "guess you had to be there" moment, but I dug it. He made my night. We were both pretty annoyed at the same stuff by the end of class - we were PAGES ahead of the bimbo and her homey, but couldn't leave until they caught up. But... whatever.

Meh. Enough about her. Last week of class for me- I can handle it. Today is interview 4 with BIG INSURANCE COMPANY, then a phone interview for a different department at the same company (huh?)... it didn't snow too bad last night, so traffic should be OK. Still waiting/hopeful for an offer from the PUD from last week... we shall see. Oh- and today is "unemployment check" day- WooHOO! Spending money! 4 days to Orlando. Can't wait!

I think that's it- I've got to figure out if I've got panny-hose and stuff ready to go for today. Make sure everything is in order. Bath time- later, all!
