Personnel Source is now taking applications for the next Royal Caribbean hire in March. They are going to be hiring about another 240 people for reservation agent positions. It starts at $9.25 per hour and is full time with benefits. You can sign up for insurance with Personnel Source, so you would at least have some coverage. There is a charge for it, but it's not much.
After 90 days and if you do well in training (there are tests and exams, etc.) you would be converted to RCI and you would have benefits under RCI. Medical, dental and vision are available. They aren't cheap, but at least you would have some benefits.
The biggest thing is that you can't miss work. Everytime you are gone for a day you get what is called an incident. After three, you would not be converted. The training is extensive and intense, but I know you could do it.
The job is not bad at all and there will be bus service to the door of RCI next month, so that would be good for you.
I don't know if you are interested, but I wanted to let you know that this opportunity is available. It's an inbound call center for reservations on cruises. Since you have call center experience, you would be a good candidate.

My friend Abby and I are going to Personnel Source on Friday actually. I'm still having trouble sitting on the computer for longer than an hour, which makes my job really frickin' hard, but by March I'm sure I'll be better than ever.
