Y'know, sometimes things AREN'T too good to be true.
That is to say, that sometimes things are just as cool as they seem. A rare thing in my recent history.
These past coupla weeks have been incredible and this past weekend especially so. From Harry Potter at the Chinese on Friday (where I got "mad props" from an usher for cuddling with Teaa and Lizz while in line) to the fabulous brunchosity on Saturday (with toxic Whit, slippin' under) to Prom that night to Clark's party yesterday, everyone's been so awesome in welcoming me into the extended family of friends that comes part & parcel with Teaa. She later quizzed me on whether there was anyone that I didn't particularly take a shine to (that's Southern for "I thought you were an asshole"), but I honestly had to say that everyone was really nice -- at least at first blush.
I think I need to create a spreadsheet in order to keep all the names & faces straight, but that's okay. For someone who's kind of a loner and has few friends that I stay in regular contact with, I've got to say it was a refreshing change and I wanna thank all you guys that I've met both on LJ and IRL. I hope I see more of you in the future (no double entendre intended, but hey, if the shoe fits...).
