Whew. Things here are... crazy. I have never ever worked so hard. My advanced tap class is hard as hell. Every single class assigns songs or scenes just about every day, so every spare second you have you're memorizing -pardon me- they prefer to call it "learning" a song or scene, not memorizing. I adore all my teachers - they are really amazing people who have been in the business for a long time.

I've made some really good friends already. My little group just seemed to click. Two of the girls live in my building, and the other two live in NYU housing. I love my building. Gramercy Park is so nice, and its great to have people to walk to and from classes every day with, and to have buddies to eat dinner and breakfast with.

I saw Light in the Piazza's last performance in the Lincoln Center on Sunday, and I really, really enjoyed it. It needs to stop raining here, for serious. Every time I think its going to be a nice day, or that I won't get completely soaked on my way to class, it pours. In fact, it pretty much pours all the time. My mom's coming on Saturday - i've got a broadway jazz class and a voice lesson in Brooklyn, but it should be good to see her. Georgia's coming too - i'm excited.

Anywho, off to see some fireworks - if it stops raining!
