LOVELESS FIC 4: SADNESS

Mar 01, 2006 00:53

You know how like it's one in the morning and your completely exhausted and you end up writing something that makes no sense? Just thoughts and questions blended together, hoping for some voice of reason to slip out between them?

Hm. Yeah. Maybe you will be able to pick up the underlining meaning between the two of them in this?

it pains me to be near you, when i am so far away )

I *love* this, the way you described Ritsuka's movements and positioning really fit well with the dreamy quality of Soubi's thoughts/words.

Again your writing is so beautiful and heart rending how you show us their naked loneliness and need!

I like it. It's... hmm... food for thought, for lack of a better description.

It's desperation, there, that drives them - both of them. In this, you have managed to show that for all the differences between Ritsuka and Soubi, both of them are very much alike in many ways. They both have been left behind before, by the person they cared about the most - the same person, ironically enough - and that sort of thing is bound to leave one scarred and fearful. Both of them are 'clingy' (for lack of a better word in my mind at present >.<) and have a hard time believing that the other is there to stay. Partly because they were left behind before, but also because they both know, by now, that this thing called fate can be unpredictable, and nobody really knows how the tables might turn.

And then there is the bond between them - I like the way it's executed. How Ritsuka can hear Soubi's thoughts and he thinks it's obvious, that it should not be any other way - I love that there is no 'Look! This means we're bound now, yay' type of thing, but ( ... )

Oh my god, that was so beautiful. ^_^ It's brilliantly written, so unique and somehow like a dream. It's such a small moment, but I think you captured their very beings with your amazingly beautiful and talented words. I didn't know I could enjoy another fanfic fandom so much. Keep writing. You clearly have something to say. :)

Thank you ever so much, Rebekka. These words of yours were so kind; and inspiring to me as well! So thank you.

I didn't know I could enjoy another fanfic fandom so much.
^-^ Then that has to be my biggest accompliment with this story -- that you were able to enjoy it even though it wasn't written in your fandom. So happy!

Actually, your fic is the first Loveless fic I've read. ^_^ And I feel like writing my own, because yours was so beautiful. It's always fun to be inspired by someone else's work. :)

Ooh, really? Mine is the first? ^-^ How exciting! Thank you. You must go read what Mlj user="yutaka"> and aluragayle have written as well. alurgayle has just written a recent fic that is very . . . "dreamlike" too. ^^

It's always fun to be inspired by someone else's work. :)
Oh my goodness -- that is the only way I write! ^-^ Silly, as it may sound, but I can only write when I have read another story that just . . . triggers something in my imagination. ^^

This piece just...floats. There's such a wonderfully dreamlike quality to it, soft and blurred around the edges. My mental voice read it all in a whisper. The raw emotion we feel from Soubi is all the more wrenching because of this impressionistic quality of everything else...

Beautiful, beautiful. ♥ Thank you!

and I'm getting strange looks for sniffling at my office desk...

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can't believe I was able to make you feel exactly what it was that I was trying to accomplish. ( Those emotions you described are exactly the kinds I felt when I read your Seimei/Soubi fic! ^-^ This is why I loved it so much -- it is the kind of writing that implores to me so deeply. )

-giggles- You are too kind.
