Has anyone on here done a correspondence course before?
For the most part I enjoy my job and it pays the bills, but it really doesn't challenge me.
I don't really see myself not working and studying full time, or changing my career path completely.
Today I sgned up for a course with Stotts, but now I am a bit worried that they might have a bad rep. or something..
They are NZQA approved, but the course has 'has no National Qualifications Framework' which means you can't use credits against any courses you may do in the future. (Though I did read something about being able to apply when doing courses to see if they will recognise what you have done) anyway, as I don't really plan to study full time or anything in the future, this doesn't worry me too much.
This course is way cheaper than others that I looked at. And it sounds interesting to me.
I just worry that I'll be dissapointed.. I always rush in to things... it's probably one of my worst points.
Basically I am just wanting to do it as a hobby/so I don't feel like my brain is melting away..
Any thoughts? I think i can back out, but will probably lose a small deposit.
