So in the up and down fashion that seems to be prerequisite, it was a great and alternately bad weekend. I drove to Albany to see Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello with Javabean, And about 25 miles outside of buffalo my truck started sputtering. I pushed ahead and made it to Albany. By the time i stopped thick smoke was pouring out the engine.....
Needless to say i didnt drive the truck home. But it was a fantastic Show, Dylan was good, but in my opnion, Costello stole the show. The opening act, Amos lee was also fantastic.
So i got to ride the bus home and bit Adeu to my poor engine blown truck. But aside from that it was a great weekend. And it resulted in me getting a new car that actually has less then 50 thousand miles on it.
And just a side note. I am sitting here watching Murder She Wrote, and it occurs to me that Jessica Fletcher Must be the Angel of Death. If that women arrives in your town, RUN!!!!
