(no subject)
Again...yes we all know that I am not very good with the upkeep of this journal. I really am trying to put more in here. I just for some reason can't find the time...or I just have no clue what to write about. =) But I do today! I have waited for way too long now to start my office administrator job. I was hired last month. I haven't worked a day yet, and mind you this is a full time job. So when I asked about it....I was told give me another week to get things underway. So I did....another week past. Now...I am not saying I have to pay for a house or anything but a girl has bills to pay. LOL. I can't get by on nothing. So I inquired again. What do ya know...what is that....another week. So I now had come to the conclusion that I was being given the run around. Would you? Okay well it doesn't matter anyway cuz you aren't me. LOL. So now I get a phone call from a woman named Dee from Ridgefield...she works as a co-owner of a real estate company. She needs a personal assistant. Now she wants to talk to me and meet up for coffee...now I am not gonna turn that down. Ontop of that working 20 hours a week I would bring home a normal paycheck of someone that works 40 a week. Not to mention when she fills me in full time I will be a happy camper. Ontop of that when I learn the ropes...she would like me to go to night school for classes....and to get my liscence for real estate....all paid for by the company! HOW GREAT IS THAT. She then says that she would like me to be a part of her team...because she has heard wonderful things about me. =) I am soooooooooo happy...thank god my resume went around that part of town. =) Well yes that is all the good happy news. So after I was done recovering from being in shock....I get another phone call. Who is it you ask? The other guy that hired me! What are the freakin odds...no phone calls for a month and a half of being hired and he calls the one day that I get another offer? Go figure. He left a message saying that he would like me to start work on monday, and that he needs to talk to me before the weekend. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! What do I do? LOL. I have to meet this lady Dee for coffee either friday or next week. If I get the job I will say "Peace"(as jojo likes to say)to the other guy. But if I don't get it....it would be awesome to be able to fall back upon my old job that I haven't started yet. I just hope it happens tomorrow. =) I hope I can speak to her in person and get a big fat YES WE WANT YOU! And then I can be on my little merry Nikki way. Are the odds in my favor? Yes? No?
