I love the Austria/Hungary one. I didn't see all the fuss about them at first, but fanart has been slowly converting me. I think I ship everything with this series.

With the whole personal space picture...I always found that Americans are less likely to be up in your personal bubble. It's part of the reason why we talk so much louder, because Americans stand so much farther away when they speak to one another. Most Americans view it as the Europeans that are way too close in your personal space... /two cents LOL not that it really matters.

In my limited expirience American's really come too close. But then again most Finns, me included, have a PS of twenty or more centimetres, so... yeah. ^^'
But true, the French and Spanish people - and Italians also - come too close. Southern Europe. -.-

Lol, it's still a wonderful pic! I just imagine Russia looming up behind poor Finland like some kind of dreadful rapey thing, trying to take his virginity territory and/or subvert whatever autonomy he's managed to build up :P. Possibly with glowing death-eyes and a horrid, horrid grin.

AHAHA PS. But maybe China would be a better example here? They really come close to you and if you try to take the awkward side steps they'll just bodily crab you so you can't run away. :D I'm ok with that but it took a while to get used to. :DDD

I've no personal experiences with the Chinese. ^^' Sounds rather horrible, the grabbing, but maybe one can get used to it?
