Why the world hates Ron haters (or, You're Just Jealous!)
OK, so most of you know about my essay that somehow got leaked to some board (I still haven't figured out where) and then recced on the Daily Snitch. I don't know who did that either, but it's beside the point. The point is....I wanted feedback from you guys, but instead I get all these ridiculous posts and emails from Ron lurvers that are just so.....there aren't words to describe!
I screened all the posts, so I've only unscreened the ones that had something intelligent to say, or that I really wanted to answer back to.
But...I simply cannot tell you how many I've gotten that accuse me of being JEALOUS of RON!
ROFLMAO!!!!!!!
This post today...accuses Harry and Hermione of all sorts of things (including being jealous of Ron, and his talents, and acheivements? Um...right, I think I missed that part of the book, my pages are all numbered right, but some fans must have gotten secret pages, and decoder rings, lol), refutes canon FACTS, and then she tells me that I only find fault with Ronniekins because I'm jealous! HA HA HAHAHAAHHAAAAA
I just found that super-amusing and thought I'd share ;)
The not so amusing part is how very many people (all named anonymous, it's interesting how popular that name really is!) respond that Hermione DESERVES the treatment she gets, and that because she's so bossy she needs to "be taken down a peg or two" before she would be fit company for anyone. And don't get me started on what they say about Harry! *rolls eyes* they practically accuse him of stealing Ron's show, and wish he would have died when he was a baby. They hold it against him that he's "The Boy Who Lived" as if he chose to be. It could really turn your stomach. They're so desperate to exonerate Ron, they'll stop at nothing.
The most sad part....is their main argument revolves around the fact that they think they ARE Ron.
