Thug life...
Today was a day of lifting heavy things, getting sweaty, grimy, and sunkissed, and even witnessing a devastating wreck by the Grandview triangle... but the giggle du jour was picking up a marble and mahogany vanity from Home Goods... list weight was 300#, this was after installing a 400# conference table (which includes putting the legs on then flipping it over). The funny part of this was, the manager at Home Goods asked if I needed some help loading. There were a few very pretty boys in the area, but most of them were skinnier than my thigh... and pretty. Seemed like more trouble than it was worth.
Also noteworthy - the Native American College in Lawrence was pretty neat... and I can't just -pay- to send a kid there, you get them registered in the tribe, then tuition (plus board) is $250 a year. Wow!
