In every day we live, we only see a few hundred people. Just a few hundred faces, with a million things to say out of world where there are 6 billion people with a hundred-trillion thoughts in their minds..
Its simply... amazing.. the internet. Just this little devide that connects you to more of those 6 billion people in the world so you can hear the stories they have to tell, and the wisdom they have to share. It makes things so much easier. You meet thousands of people who have a passionate obsession for the things you do, like video games and writing and raving.. Its almost crazy that this many people are as psycho as you are.
It also inhances any chance that you can meet that one person. In this flood of electronic activity where people are posting, blogging, and instant messaging.. you have millions of choices on who you want to talk to, who'll your next net friend will be.. And you can find anyone in the world. Any one person just suddenly has a chance.
I've been going on the internet for 6 years. I know what its like to talk to someone online for the longest time and then meet them in person.. its such a great feeling. Its how I met the closest friend I've ever had.. Martin Jackson. God I love that kid.. he lives in England but came over to see me. And I'm going to see him next summer, and I can't wait.
