Dammit Molly, send me a freaking number I can reach you at. In fact, send me all the freaking numbers I can reach you at! I've had a grammar question that has been bothering me all afternoon!
In the sentence, "Tell me where you're at," what part of speech is "at"? (yes, I do actually realize that this sentence is grammatically incorrect- that is what got me thinking about it).
In the sentence, "Tell me where you are," what part of speech is "are"?
Damn, I am an English major, am I not? Only an English major would let this bug her so much.
