YOU ARE IN THE FAR EAST

So one particularly tedious aspect of job searching in a foreign country is identifying exactly where these potential sources of employment are actually located, since anything but the most recognizable cities are pretty much meaningless to me. I've been using Microsoft's Live Local to locate cities in Japan, since both the map and the search are in English. A few minutes ago I noticed that the map goes a few hundred kilometers off the coast of Japan and then stops, as in I can't scroll any further.

Apparently I really am pretty far east.
