RIP mum...

Welp, I haven't written a few days. Phil and I were called on his birthday (10/7) at 5:30 from his dad. He told us mum wasn't doing very well and the nurse gives her 24-48hrs. We both went to work. Phil's boss sent him home. As soon as I could, I left and went to Phil's parents.

We stayed overnight. I knew for sure that she would NEVER die on Phil's birthday. She had to have had an agreement with God. It wasn't just his birthday, it was Lee's too (her granddaughter) There was just no way. We slept at the house overnight.

Didn't go to work on 10/8 and stayed at the house for a bit. Kevin came (the reverend from All Saints Church, where we got married) to do a pray for mum. Shortly after that we left to go home to let the dog out. Phil told his mom "mom, we're going home to let out the dog, we'll be back soon!" Apparently very shortly after we left, she passed. NONE of her boys were at home. I'm guessing that exactly what she wanted.

It's so bittersweet....We're gonna miss her so much...but she is not suffering or in pain anymore and she's definately in heaven with her family. The wake is going to be Monday, and the funeral will be on Tuesday. Contact me if you want more info.
