Wheee!

It's been stinking hot in Canberra. Well, stinking hot if you have to spend half the day looking after children with a strange affinity to the outdoors. :D I think I'm developing a T-shirt tan.

Long time, no see :)

Your card arrived Saturday, I think, so thank you!

It depends how much you have read so far, I think. It takes Edward and Bella quiet a while to become friends and then get together, but I thought it fascinating the first time, I read it.

Nintendo DS and PSPs at Sunday school, really?
I don't go to church or Sunday school but this is pretty impolite and rude, I think.

They're together now. It seems very... typical. As expected, I like Edward. Bella's growing on me but she seems regular. I don't know. Maybe I'm growing out of it?

Oh, they're just bored because they've nothing to do. Like, no one's planned anything for them to do anything in the holidays. So their parents let them. It's just that once they start playing, it's hard to get them to stop. *shrugs* You know, like us and books. :D

In a way, their love story is typical.
The big bang comes with the nomadic vampires *eg*

LOL

It's been much the same on this side of the country and with hotter to come later in the week.

I wish we had a turntable still *sigh* We have so many old records from the 50's all the way to the late 80's that we'd love to listen to again.

We got ours fairly cheap from eBay, I think. My sister chose and I chipped in. I could ask her, if you like, it seems such a waste not to listen to those records!

It was even hotter today but it rained later in the arvo, so it's cooled down considerably. Thank God for the rain!

We can get them from Dick Smith and the like, but we need to find one that's compatible with our current sound system, so we only have to get the turntable and not the whole system again. We just need to get around to actually doing it ;)

Thank goodness for a little rain! We're just getting hotter from here until Monday or so when it's going to cool for a couple of days :)

LOL, a t-shirt tan, or as it's more classily known here, a farmer's tan. Whee, aren't they fun?
