Song of freedom is on my lips...

Because I live so far away from most of you flisters, our times are completely out of whack and it's so hard for me to do the maths and figure out what time it is wherever you guys are. I use The World Clock to help me because I'm just lazy like that, but today i noticed an extra linky thing -- a personalised world clock which just shows you the times of the cities you're interested in. How much easier life is with technology that actually works like it should. *contented sigh*

Ok, so it's not really as exciting as my LJ cut makes it out to be, but you know I'm a drama queen... D'you know, I had a really weird dream during my LJ ban -- I dreamt that
lyndsiefenele (hey Lynds!) was actually one of my classmates from high school who does Chinese with me now. it was so bizarre because I got really confused. I've seen pictures of you, Lynds, and I know you look nothing like her, so unless there's something you're not telling me... Totally bizarre. *shakes head* Do you guys ever have dreams where online and real life collide?

*giggles* We did Swiss literature for our French lit. class and some of them were translated stories. One of the Romansh stories had a bit of German in it which made me squee on the inside because I love German. Lotsa happy memories from high school. ^_____________^ Anyway, one of the words was the word for spring, 'Frühling' and the other word was 'Loreley' which made me just wanna yell 'THAT'S ME!'. Of course, a rock that makes sailors die is a bit of a bad thing to be claiming to be yourself. *shrugs* I never said I was sane. I'd do German instead of French at uni, but 1. I suck at it.; 2. It'd just take all the fun out of it and then I'd hate it too. And what a lovely way to spoil a memory.

I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! And it's far too late for me to be still up on a Saturday night -- church tomorrow morning and I'm doing my last sit-in session with the Sunday School class before I start teaching! *nervous buzz* But at least I'm not out clubbing like the other people who've finished today. *resolves to go to bed NOW*

church, french, timezones, sunday school, dreams, holidays, flist
