(no subject)
Still no internet but I have been doing well and living life to the fullest that I can as a student.
I am currently on Spring Break. Haven't done anything really although I did get a job at the Local Thai restaurant which is awesome! I love it. I get a free meal every time I work which is delicious! Yum Yum. The mango Curry is my favorite.
Nathan is doing good. I am suppose to visit him soon. He is flying me out there. The week after that I am going to New Orleans for the Annual National Art Education Association Conference. That will be really cool I need to make up some business cards and print out my resume to take around with me. Hopefully I'll get some leads on places to look at applying once I am done with school. I am really looking toward Chicago since I believe that is where Nathan will be.
My family is moving to Ohio this summer. I am sad that the will be farther away. Its only like 7 hours but thats not drive down for the weekend trip distance anymore.
The house is doing good and Jen gets back from Cali this Saturday.
I have some paintings going into a school show. They aren't the greatest things in the world but its fun to have them up and shown. That goes up this Monday in the Lobby of the Music and Arts building for 2 weeks.
Got my hair done. I am really happy with it. I got it lightened so its a lighter blonde and it has some really choppy layers that are a lot of fun to play with. I have been playing with it a whole lot and am excited to have more options for styling it.
Fall and summer scheduling is coming up soon. I am hoping to be out of here in 2 semesters. Praying it doesn't take me any longer than that.
I passed my Praxis I and I am seriously thinking about taking the Praxis II over the summer and just getting it out of the way. I think it would be very manageable and possible to do. I also want to try to find some program to work with to get some teaching practice in and gain some more experience. I just need to start looking around for summer programs and everything.
Well that is whats been going on with me. Sorry i can't be on every day. I wish I could but its amazing how hard it is to get on when you can't just turn it on at home.
