I'm back form VA. I had an awesome time.

The drive up there was long and I got two tickets. One for speeding and one for not having an inspection sticker (I still had VA plates because I hadn't made it to the DMV here yet. My Va inspection sticker expired after I moved here so I removed it not thinking a thing of it) So that was really the only downer to the whole trip. Everything else was awesome.

I dropped Kyra off at her friend Lanes house and went and saw my Boo, Nathan. His mom made us dinner it was amazing and then we went and saw American Hardcore. A documentary movie about the eraly development and progression of Hardcore music in America. It was good and I got to see alot of friends. Joy, Ashley, Amber, Jimmy, Atlanta, etc. So that was nice. The movie was enjoyable. We went by Sarah's house after that to see her and her man Josh. That was great even though I was a bit zoned due to the 12 hours of driving.

The next day Nathan and I went to see Josh and get my septum re-done. We brought him 3 soft taco's from Machismos my favorite Burrito bar and had lunch with him. Josh is engaged to a woman named Marley who is really cool and told us that he and she just found out they are pregnant. I'm excited for them about that and the wedding. They also just moved into a new house. So they are doing awesome.

After hanging out with Josh, which is always fun, Nathan and I went and ran some errands and stopped by Up agianst the Wall to see Abby.Who gave me the cutest hair clips ever! They are little cupcake bobby pins. I love them. Then Nathan and I were thinking about going to see the Rounders play since TJ was doing the show but decided we just wanted a nice night in so we got some pizza's stopped by Beno's to say hi and have a beer or two while watching brian seltzer on pbs preform christmas songs and then we started to watch a movie called Romper Stomper with U-in(sp) Macgregor in it. Its about neo- skin heads which is not something I'm into at all so Nathan I left after the first little bit of that. We went home and watched Modify a movie about body modifications. It was interesting. More of a thinking movie really. We had home made apple pie while we watched that. Nathan's mom is amazing!

The last day there Nathan and I went to see Happy feet which was really cute. Nathan really wanted to see it which is why I love him. I wanted to stop by TJ's radio show but it was starting to get late and I need to hit the road so I picked up Kyra and we drove home. Which other than me miss reading a direction which took us a half hour off course and back was really uneventful. I made Kyra try pop rocks becasue she'd never had them before. I also made her try them with soda so that was fun. All in all an amazing trip.

I can't wait for the 15th to roll around because Nathan is coming out here with We Were Gentlemen and I'll get to see him 2 days in a row because they are playing Nashville then playing a little south of nashville. So yay!

I found out that I am going to be moving rooms. I'll be moving most likely into an end unit with Jamie in a single room and Brittany (an amazing spit fire 5'2" woman that I adore and wish I had more time to hang out with) So hopefully that'll happen. We all share our clothes already so I am assuming that the house is goingto be amazing. The only thing that might be a dampner is that britanny has had a single for a long time now so having to get a roommate may or may not be a big deal. I don't think it will since she basically lives in her boyfriends room anyway. So thats exciting. Hurray!

Other stuff... I have my printmaking final due wensday and I have only one of the three blocks carved out Epp! my paper arrived today though so I am set to go on that. Thank god! So today I'm going to take a nap til 2 when class is and then work my little tooshi til I can't work no more. I know I can get the other two blocks carved then run to Lowes and get then cut to size Which I should have done first to be honest and cut out all the paper to size then sleep and print round one. hmm... this is going to be interesting. blah. I probubly shouldn't have gone to VA but I wouldn't have missed it for the world. So if I have to suffer to get through this printmaking then so be it...

I did work on my metals assignment while I was there and I am almost done with my fibers assingment. I just have to sew it together which I can do tomorrow during class. YAY!

So other than the printmaking crunch I am good!
