Freakin' Stoked am I!
I dunno whether or not I had the opportunity to share the wonderful news with all of you but I just got a lightsaber and it's so incredible!!! I bought the Obi Wan Kenobi saber and then once I opened the package I saw a little booklet that had pictures of the other collectibles and inside was the most amazing thing I have ever seen....a red saber! Well considering how my outfit is red and black that's what I was looking for all along so mom whipped that love wagon around and we sped back to Toys R' Us to pick up my perfect lightsaber. So I ended up searching through tons of discarded weapons eventually finding the last un-damaged lightsaber in the bunch and as I held it above my head I swear the clouds parted and there was a magnificent aura about the box. *holds it tightly, tearing as I recall the event* I am now the proud owner of an Anakin Skywalker/ Darth Vader lightsaber that turns from blue to red to symbolize his transformation to the darkside. *cheers* I had to test it out by running around the house chasing Baby with all of the lights off so I could watch it glow. So I thwacked her ever so gently and it gave off the most amazing sound effect!!! Can't wait until the 18th! If all goes as planned and the character I made up {yes I took time out of my life to create a SW character for the opening night} turns out to be as great as I had hoped *crosses fingers* I ought to be taking a ton of pictures that night. The perfect ending to an astonishing evening would be if I dueled with a fellow nerd and we met up later on or something to that dorky line....*swoon*
