ktru meeting with pizza; piano lesson; class; stage managing a recital; rehearsal rewarded by pizza; bonniebrae recording session; sleep; tour of LEED-compliant passive solar green type house; recording a recital; recording another recital; recital reception; rushing; perform what was rehearsed the night before; ensuing punch-and-pie reception; bonniebrae recording sequel; sleep; rehearsal rewarded by pizza; recording a recital followed by reception; church choir rehearsal; church with ensuing free dinner; performing what we rehearsed eight hours earlier; ensuing reception; now.
grand total of TWENTY-ONE pieces of pizza eaten, six recitals (two of which performed bassoon in) with four receptions. no food at all prepared by me. compare to thursday's bulghur-lentil salad made for dan's birthday. also thursday, finally got me passport applied for! also thursday, writing a tango based on john donne's "A Woman's Constancy"
Polyproject - in and out in between cracks - 35 edits this weekend, about 23 of them my own. Not bad considering my poor advertising. Worse when your standards are quality more than quantity. Hard to get focused this weekend with all the food flying around.
