It's strange that someone who was happy, excited, and wished for the success of others would suddenly want to see the world end and make sure to do it as painfully as possible. There's an explanation for this:

The first time Carly turned into a Dark Signer her intention was to murder Divine. Under no circumstance did she think of how she'd be murdering hundreds of people to achieve her goal. But once she's finished her business, she snaps out of it. Carly's the only Dark Signer to be able to snap out of a “trance” and realize what in the shit she just did (note: she forgot it for five seconds). She's also the only Dark Signer to feel guilt over what she's done and refuse to accept that she's made this decision.

When observing this radical difference in attitude, a theory can be formulated. We know that Dark Signers make a deal in their death to fulfill a specific desire; in Carly's case this is enacting her revenge upon Divine. When that deal is made, the Earthbound God is granted a certain amount of control over the individual. Their first action is whatever their greatest desire is in death. Technically, Carly's desire is to see Jack again, but it's fair to assume that Carly's other desire was for Divine to receive his just desserts (“Divine, I will make you pay... I've been revived to send you to the grave.”). So her primary focus in this moment is to take Divine down. With striving to achieve the one thing Carly must do, Aslla Piscu seems to cut and trim at Carly's morals. A dark signer doesn't think about the thousands of people dying when they use the Earthbound God card, one reason being because their focus is on that sole desire, and the other reason is because if the world's ending anyway why not spare a few thousand people the agony of seeing the world end first hand?
