croatoan apocalypse now; See croatoan_end. It's 2014 and the Croatoan Apocalypse in full swing. Sam said "yes", Dean's asserted himself as the leader among those not infected, and survival is the second top priority while they protect their outpost, Camp Chitaqua, against the Croats and hunt down a way to kill the devil. Having sided with Lucifer, Castiel's doing all he can to prevent that from happened.
promises are sand; The Apocalypse is over, and with Sam's sacrifice, Dean is left to pick up the pieces. And now that Castiel's been resurrected human, things are made that much more difficult to deal with. (Played with Dean).
