It's been a while...
Well! It's been hella long since I've written anything on here :P Exams... school... blech. I was reading The Wolves of Calla, the fifth installment in Mr. King's Dark Tower series, but I wasn't taking it in right... that could be because I was usually on a noisy bus when I read it, constantly being distracted. Exams don't help, either. So, I'm restarting it. I really like it so far, so I want to get it read properly.
ALSO!!! I bought Barney's Version, by Mordechai Richler. I love this man almost as much or equal to Stephen King. His writing... just... gawd!! Love it, so much :D :D The plot is constantly flailing around, but the words are music to my eyes, really. I'll be leaving for home tomorrow!! That is a twenty plus hour long ride... and every time I do this trip, the bus is late, some how, some where. Oh well. When I get settled and comfy, I'll start writing more often and all that :D
And... oh hell, I've started smoking again. My sister decided to surprise me and tell me that no, she wasn't able to make it into London, and so no, I can't take any of your belongings. I mean hell. Weeks ago, she was gung ho about it, and now she's telling me that she doesn't want to be responsible for getting my shit to Tbay. Meanwhile, I must've said about 400 times that I didn't need the junk actually IN Tbay, I only needed a place to keep it. Anyways, that didn't work. I now have zero money because I had to ship EVERYTHING I could with the Greyhound, but I'm still leaving a dresser, a lamp, and a ton of dishes. Hell. And in my eminant stress, I bought smokes. Everyone always seems to have money for smokes. Will try and kick it when I move.
And on that, I'm also turning... geah... 21. I know that's not old at all, but it just reminds me that I am in fact, getting older. And it sucks. Mentally, I'm still 18, so to hell with it. I'm going to start introducing myself as a healthy and vital 18 year old, and hopefully I can forget this whole 'grown up, responsible' business.
