I hope they won't. They played so well this season (except Wolfsburg apparently, but I haven't seen that match, so it doesn'T count ;))

Sorry that that was quite disappointing. At least the result was acceptable.

And now our striker team is injured. :(

its ok, i wont hold it against them.. looking forward to their next matched :) although.. well.. injuries always suck ): but is it the first main player of the team to get injured this season?

We had our first bad injury 30 seconds into the season with Carlitos tearing his ligament against Frankfurt while landing from a jump.

I really hope YaKonan's ligament will only be slightly injured and not torn as well. And Moa "only" has a concussion. So he will at least not be missing too long.

Hmmmm i guess thats not that bad compared to other teams.. and it's only matchday 6! idk how these players survive throughout the seasons LOL my club has a player who's been playing injured for weeks waiting til the winter break to have his surgery, or so i hear... and he's the only player who hasnt missed a single game the whole season.. srsly.

Well, we also had broken noses and swollen toes and such, but nothing that took anyone out for more than a match, not counting Carlitos, though having a new player break 30 seconds into his first match and not be of any use in the first leg of the competition is a bit bitter as well.

I do really like our starting team right now, though and who knows what would have happened with Carlitos there.

And we had enough bad luck with injuries the last two years, so lets hope we'll be lucky this time.

lol speaking of new players breaking instantly reminds me of Arne, who didn't even get 30 seconds.. sucks to be wolfsburg...

well, i dont have much of an opinion on hannover's starting team, so i'll get back to you on that one ;) i do hope they have a nice season, i'm sick of hearing about broken players... i want exciting matches without bloodshed :) if i wanted that i'd just watch MMA with my brother haha

Yeah, that is probably even worse.

So far except for the swollen toe thingie, which made Haggui rest against Wolfsburg, so lucky you ;), all our injuries were without interfering opponents, though just by players landing/running funny and twisting their legs.

I could do without injuries as well. But they are probably part of the job. Just hope that my strikers will be back on Friday. Why do we have to have the Friday match next week? Stupid international matches during the week. ;p

I am a bit scared of what will happen if we have to put Hanke and Forssell into the starting eleven. ;)

It is probably that they do it so much that they are bound to screw it up eventually.

As for going to the stadium they are my favourite as well, but it is a bit unfortunate right now that we only have 4 days to recover for our striker couple.

standard coach excuse: "theres no need for alarm, we have plenty of people to play in their position", at least thats what our coach always says :D and no it never works out fine b-but! if they lose, its no big deal, its just one match, season just started; and if they win, wow, then they won without the main striker couple XD well, ill be home rooting for them :)

We actually do have plenty of strikers, but they are all a different type to Moa and Didi and won't work with the current system, which is the reason why we spent money on Moa in the summer in the first place. So I am curious to see how that will work out if Slomka will have to test it.

Awww. Thanks for your support. It is appreciated and probably much needed. :)

yeah, i know, its always like that.. its not that they dont have players for that position, but its a matter of formation i think.. some players are better when playing with a certain strategy, and etc.. its not a matter of 'lets just throw in a a few defenders, some midfielders and 2 or 3 strikers, see what comes up!"

i mean, if it was like that, there wouldnt be a starting eleven, they could just do a lucky draw at the beginning of every match :)

Yes. Ah, well. We will see how bad it really is and what Slomka will come up with this week.
