Hee at the kilt and the band! I like your choice of instruments for everyone :)
I also like the random red things still life! The lizard is a great addition, and I like how the pattern on the vase echoes the tartan on the bagpipes and the kilt :)
So I just learnt that these three instruments are the three that get most made fun of in the US ;)
I also got a comment that the tartan they used for Scotty in the series is wrong, and it should be a different one for the name Scott (since they all are attached to a certain family name).
Oooh good eye! I hadn't even realized that the vase has a bit of tartan in it as well! It was a gift from my mother once.
Again this is one of the pictures that just happens.
Originally I just wanted to do Scotty in his kilt, with the bagpipes, which would have been a bit boring I guess. But when I went to get him from my glass cabinet shelf, I saw the alarm clock and the vase. I do have the shelf decorated like a dollhouse, with furniture and all. That's where I got the idea and then I dug through my boxes to find more red things.
Awww, Scotty is a very cute Scot! And what is his tartan? LOL The band is a sheer success, everyone would give them a penny or two:-) And your "Study in Red" is very stylish!
Wow, Scotty looks really good in that kilt outfit! Nice job! And I love the band, though I tried to imagine what they would sound like with an accordion, bagpipes, and a banjo, and... well, I think I'll just to back to enjoying the picture. :)
Now I'm going to ask you a very random question. How do you store your action figures when you're not actively using them? Do you have them on display in your home, or do you keep them packed away? If the second, do you have particular containers/boxes you recommend? And if they come with accessories or interchangeable parts, how do store those so that they don't get lost or mixed with other figures' things?
I don't normally buy action figures but I do get ones I like, from Big Chief primarily, but I've actually never taken them out of their boxes because I don't know what to do with them afterwards. I don't want to set them up for display right now because they'd just get dusty, but we're thinking of getting an enclosed display case and I might set them up in there.
It would be a very experimental kind of music, that's for sure! LOL
So I assume we're talking 1/6 scale figures here? The big ones? Because the small ones I store many in one box, and I use whatever I can find, be it old tin cookie boxes or plastic ones.
My Stargate collection, I have similar boxes for the 7" Star Trek figures:
I've been looking into vitrines for a little bit now. One of my hobbies is constructing metal models (like the one below) and at this point I have a good twenty or thirty done and sitting around in random places gathering dust.
Oh God, is that from the Metal Earth company? My mother bought the Mars Rover for my brother, and then I was the one who had to build it. It drove me crazy! Some of the little things you need to twist broke off, I had to use glue a few times in the end. And there were flat things you had to roll to round, which was not easy either. I did the best I could.

Haha, probably, yes! But I do feel like they're fitting, in a funny way :)
Hee, love the glimpses of the dollhouse shelf -- that's awesome that your figures are hanging out in these cute domestic scenes "at rest" :)
