Star Trek: New Earth

Feb 12, 2021 23:00

This week's episode on the Deltaflyer Podcast (the one with Garrett Wang and Robert Duncan McNeill) was "Resolutions" so I made these.

How do you like my set? I love it!

Cool! Is it natural lichen you collected yourself? And is that a water lily seedpod at the back?

I don't dare to collect things from nature as I am afraid of it getting mouldy or little animals living in it ;)
All the moss you see here is from dollar shops, there are often packages for decoration at home. Also with stones etc.

The dark green one I have sprinkled over I got from my brother for Christmas. What a mess, the flakes flew everywhere LOL I have destroyed this set now as I needed the kitchen table but can set it up any time again.

I also used this plastic wreath, you can take the single pieces off:

Fair enough, although with little critters you could have live action photo-shoots!

I'm pretty sure the brown thing with the holes is from a water lily.

Oooh, looking forwards to the next story!

Woooow! This is absolutely fantastic! I love your set and your arrangement as well as the romance, of course.:-)

It looks great! Doesn't seem artificial at all.
I'd like to know where the bathtub came from, too. It's supposed to be a real planet, not a hologram, right?

I love my set! I almost didn't want to but destroyed this one as I needed a free kitchen table, and then set it up differently for the Valentine's Day story ( ... )

Well, one of them took up the challenge and whipped this up over the weekend.
Wow. This is dedication!

Now I understand the story. I'd prefer an upgraded bath, but the wooden one was such a romantic gesture.

Yes, definitely a romantic gesture, one of many. He also built her a headboard so she can sit up in bed and read. He was about to extend the cabin to make it more like a home and build a boat so they could go explore down the river and intensify their relationship when Voyager returned with a cure for the virus and they got rescued :( Back on board, they were back to being Captain and Commander, where an intimate relationship is not allowed because of regulations.

Sadly we miscalculated and the tub my friend made is way too big for the small figures but the big Janeway fits into it so it is not a loss.

But now I have to build a small wooden one myself, since I already made the fitting figure to go with it. In for a penny, out for a pound!

Maybe it's better this way as I can take pictures of Chakotay with the tub in various stages and show him actually building it. It will be fun.
I have so many ideas, I need to take half a year off work LOL
