Penguins in the snow

Every year I am buying one of those funny wooden penguins at the Christmas market. One is surfing, one has a swim ring and a thermometer for the water temperature ;)

This is the snow I have used for the recent pics, it's a powder, then you add water and it grows!

I love the igloo!

I've never seen that snow stuff before, I wonder if you can get it here...

I saw many different kinds on ebay but I found that the one I used for the Orville Winter Park is not as fluffy so there are different qualities. I don't know which to order now and sadly have forgotten what this was called. The guy who sold it sounded Dutch or from Belgium maybe.

Your penguins are endlessly cute! What a very real and IMPRESSIVE environment you have created, oh my clever friend!!!
I also have never seen this magical powder - definitely not here.

Eee, so cute! Nice job setting up their environment. I bought some fake snow like that on a whim a few years ago and never used it, I wonder if I can find it now...

That snow was so awesome! Wish I could find it again. They said it could be used again, it would get back to powder but sadly mine got black mold so I had to throw it away.

For my Orville Winter Park I used a different kind, and that was not fluffy, it was very clumpy and would not make proper snow. They say you can build a snowman with it, but for that it was not clumpy enough, only small clumps would stick together. Weird stuff. I threw it away now too but have two more boxes.

Have you found yours?

Oof, too bad about the mold! I wasn't able to find mine at all. In hindsight, I think I may have given it to someone.

Thanks! Although I had to throw the snow away as it was getting moldy.
