I didn't know the expression "to draw a bath" before, what a good way to learn it! I'll definitely remember that little joke :D

You even have tiny slippers!

I agree, learning words like that you never forget them! I often have a little story for a certain word, how I heard first about it, in which context.

Have you also watched the video? Maybe I should have made the link more prominent.

The slippers came together with the bathrobe many years ago! I tried to put them onto Bruce but his feet/shoes were too big. So I just put them there.

I have watched the video. I wonder if the series was funny in general, or it was just one of few jokes.

I just noticed the sink and the bath have two taps. British!

I haven't watched the cartoon series myself. I read good reviews saying this was a good portrait of Alfred and you also learn a bit about his past and skills. But it's just too many episodes to try and watch them all, and the clips that I find on youtube don't entice me too much. A lot of standing around making big speeches, you know. And fighting probably. I don't think it is funny in general but there are some clips with jokes.

My brother has recorded the 60s campy Batman TV series for me from TV though and I watched a bit of that and love it! I've never seen it before. Apparently for kids at the time it was the coolest and scariest thing ever, but it is so over the top that you can't take it serious. When Bruce and Robin go down the poles to the Batcave, there is actually a sign saying "secret Bat poles" and stuff like that.

Yes, properly British and both sink and bathtub also are made from real porcellain! Too bad they're so small. I need smaller figures.
