Wow. Well, that is - wow. Speechless over here. Only David can make me watch a horror movie, and watching it I will be! Hopefully they will have an original language version in our cinemas, I want to hear his original voice

Genau deswegen brauchte ich vorhin auch ne kalte Dusche :D... Himmel, den Film überleb ich nicht *gg*. Wir haben leider nur 1 Kino überhaupt in der Gegend, die Originale zeigen. Hoffentlich ist Fright Night einer davon. Ich war lange nicht mehr im Kino, aber da MUSS ich rein *drools*

Kanntest Du den Film vorher? Ich hab noch nie zuvor davon gehört, also vom Original. Ist der sehr bekannt und nur ich lebe mal wieder hinterm Mond?

Ich hoffe doch, dass Davids Rolle recht groß ist, dass sich der Rest vom Horror auch lohnt für mich. Sonst warte ich gleich auf die Idee und spule den Rest vor... Aber auf der großen Leinwand wirkt das sicher toll.

Sie haben ihn ja schon in Amerika bei Testpublikum gezeigt, und alle haben sich sehr lobend über den Schauspieler von Peter Vincent geäußert. Das könnte wirklich sein ganz großer Durchbruch werden - weltweit. Ist nur die Frage, ob wir das wollen, denn dann spielt er erst mal kein Theater in nächster Zeit...

Nope.. du bist nicht die Einzige... Ich hatte von dem Film vorher auch noch nie gehört. Ich weiß auch immer noch nicht, ob ich das Original vorher sehen soll, oder besser nicht.

Ich hab nichts gegen Horror Filme, aber normalerweise guck ich die nicht. Eben nur bei Besonderheiten und das enthält natürlich eine große Besonderheit *squees*.

Sonst warte ich gleich auf die Idee und spule den Rest vor... Aber auf der großen Leinwand wirkt das sicher toll.

Tja.. irgendwie weiß ich selbst nie, ob ich will, dass er damit den großen Durchbruch hat. Ich liebe die Sachen, die er jetzt macht und wenn es ihn dann häufiger in die Staaten zieht, dann ist das Feeling weg und mit der Bühne wird es dann auch nichts mehr. Auf der anderen Seite wäre es ihm ja zu gönnen. Ich war auch nie wirklich so enthusiastisch über "Rex is not your lawyer" wie die meisten. Einfach aus dem Grund, dass wir ihn dann verlieren. Ich fände das einfach zu schade.

Na, die Frage ist ja, will er denn überhaupt? Also einen großen Durchbruch haben? Hat er mal so was gesagt? John sagt ja, er wird immer in UK bleiben, aber deswegen kann er ja mal ab und zu was iin Amerika machen. Ich nehme an, David wird das genauso sehen. Ich kann ihn mir in Hollywood ja nun so gar nicht vorstellen. Wobei das für die Familie auch schwierig ist, wenn er drüben dreht und die hocken hier alleine. Sieht man ja an Hugh Laurie. Sind die nun eigentlich mit rübergezogen? Aber ich hab ja auch gelesen, er will jetzt mit der Rolle aufhören.

Naja, wir können es eh nicht ändern, wir können uns nur auf neue David-Sachen freuen!

While I am not a Tennant fan for some reason I can't but be impressed by his handling of accents. I am also sure he based that character on Russell Brand.

So THAT is why I don't understand half of what he says in this clip! I'm impressed in general how different he looks. The first time I saw a picture of him in role, no way I would have recognized him.

I'm not sure if he based the character on anyone. Didn't he also go to see a show of - what's his name - some magician in the US, but they also say it shall not be like him.

Yep, that's a remake, it will come out in August, but I never have heard of the other movie before, and without David I would not watch a horror movie at all. I hope his role makes up for my suffering ;)

Oh my. I LOVED the original! I'm not into horror movies either but this was also a comedy of sorts.

Heeeeee! I couldn't believe that was David Tennant until he started pealing off the makeup!!!! I forgot how tall and lanky he is because it didn't really show when he played Dr. Who. What a crazy choice for that role. I can't wait!!! Thanks for posting the link to the video!

Many months ago we saw the first pictures of him in that costume, and I would not have recognized him at all. Some of my friends say they recognized him because of that appendix surgery scar...

Isn't that a great video? I have watched it several times now. I really hope we will have an original language version.

Did you see, he throws away the coat just like the Doctor did ;)
