Star Trek: Dixieland

Every year in May we have the International Dixieland Festival in Dresden, with bands coming from all over the world. Giving concerts you have to pay for, but also there is one day where they play all over the city for free, and a big parade. Really? How awesome! At first I thought it was a clarinet, but I have been told now that it is indeed a Soprano Saxophone. I did not even know such a thing existed, or that you play an instrument. I love people that know how to play an instrument!

Thank you! Yes, it definitely is fun, but I only see elderly people there. Young people don't seem to enjoy this kind of music. Some of the band members are also old, but there have been some young bands as well.

I've been told it is a soprano saxophone but it certainly looks like a clarinet! Either way, the music is wonderful. Maybe you could come here next year!
