I made this back in March for the Sixth Scale Universe contest "Second that emotion". I actually made 2nd place with it!
At the time I had something in mind what the breaking news were about but of course everyone can make up their own mind. I just feel it appropriate to post today.

Originally I had planned to have a picture of Donald Trump on the screen, and Obama thinking, what became of this country. But I truly was not able to find a good picture of him, they all were weird and he looked odd. So I changed to the more general Breaking news.

At the time my idea was about the Florida school shooting and now there has been yet another one. I wish I was able to pose him looking more devastated, elbows on knees, but he is a bit stiff. It's the best I could do. That was quite a hard word to illustrate actually. But the winning picture is absolutely beautiful:

Oh, I see. I took it for a facepalm, a kind of "What has Trump done now?", so it was funny to me. I had CNN on at the time and they were too busy being all over the royal wedding for any other news.

Wow, thank you! Then I must have done something right, even though it did not quite turn out the way I had imagined.

I love much more doing funny pictures, they are meant as an escape from the real world, to bring people some joy. I would have not done this if it hadn't been for the prompt.
